The pinnacle of SOAR garment technology, the life of our Nano Rain Jacket began with a diligent study to create a brand-new material with an elevated wet weather performance. This house-developed EPIC-3L® membraned fabric has all the stats that translate into functional breathability and waterproofness: Nano-sized perforations on the internal membrane let you run at your maximum without building up moisture levels inside; while externally, our proven twofold DWR application – first to the yarn and then to the finished fabric – works to ensure waterproofness, guaranteeing unrivalled water run-off over the long-term.
From here, we got prescriptive with the details of the jacket's construction and functionality, adding practical design details including stretch cuffs for comfort, a drawstring wind-skirt to block out the cold or increase air flow, high-vis detailing for visibility in low light and a rear pocket for on-run essentials.
As our flagship wet weather jacket, fully taped seams and an adjustable, pre-tensioned, stowable hood are non-negotiables.
Streamlined for use on the road or trails, exposed high-altitude ridgelines or wet canal paths, we can talk about the tech of our Nano Rain Jacket until we’re short of breath, but nothing beats real-world application.
