Matt Munday is an Artist & Designer based in London. Who creates bold, expressive and fun work. Inspired by a love of music, movement and everyday life, he finds joy in the simple and often overlooked moments in our daily lives.
Over the past few years Matt has worked in the fashion industry, designing graphics and apparel. Collaborating with the likes of Wolf & Badger, London Beer factory and Nike. Alongside these collaborations, he has established himself as a sought-after printmaker, with galleries such as TheyMadeThis, Printclub & Editions stocking his colourful and positive prints.
“My illustration for this collab with SOAR is based on my own experiences of running. Having recently taken the jump from road to trail I have found that taking in nature has been a welcome change to my running routine, not just physically getting off of the streets of London and out into nature, but also mentally. I have found it a freeing experience and a timely welcome with the weather getting colder. Running for me is a meditative experience and really allows me to switch off from life’s stresses, hopefully you can see this influence in my designs.”
