Our softshell running top keeps you happy on sub-zero mornings, perma-drizzle weekends and wind chill evenings.
The 3XDRY® fabric, sealed zip and glued seams shrug off the rain – Soar’s first rule of keeping you comfortable in cold weather. The second is to keep your temperature in check. The intelligent softshell fabric draws sweat away from your body; zipped under-arm vents give you complete control of airflow.
Note: wear your softshell next to the skin in milder conditions.

Really impressed with the Softshell. It’s been invaluable for January’s mix of cold and wet weather; lightweight yet warm it’s been the best addition to my running kit

I cannot express how much more I appreciate the quality and features of the piece now that I know the design and purpose behind them. Highest distinction for designing a well-made jacket that not only fits right on but looks super sharp as well. I really love the material and cut of the jacket!

The 3XDry is excellent at temperature regulation. It was comfortable, keeping me warm in cool temps starting off, but not overheating as my pace picked up. I appreciate the slightly chunky tooth of the zipper with the seam seal on the back, it feels high-quality and long lasting. Overall design, fit, and finish are excellent. I look forward to getting in some longer runs in inclement weather over the next couple of days.

I've worn it every waking hour - it's keeping me warm! I particularly like the zipped underarm vents, the built-in mitts, and tailored fit. Also, stylish colours!

Tim Soar’s clean, pared-down aesthetic finds compelling new expression in high-performance, cool-looking label Soar Running. An exceptional piece is the wind- and rain-proof body-con Softshell running jacket in stretch Schoeller fabric – with back pockets, underarm zip vents and thumb mitts. But the whole collection – all laser-cut and bonded – is worth attention. Take a look at the race vests, T-shirts and ultra-lightweight rain jackets and gilets in rich blues and cream for low-light conditions.
