What got you into running? And what keeps you doing it?
I run because I want to challenge myself. The freedom of discovery keeps me running.

What is your typical training routine?
I run once or twice daily with 2 weekly track workouts, strength training and maybe a Parkrun.

Do you run with a club or a group?
London Heathside Athletics Club.

Where’s the strangest place you’ve run?
Wormwood Scrubs (cross country), it is surprisingly pleasant to run there and the mud is a bonus.

What song, if any, is guaranteed to make you run faster?
Something with an interesting melody and a good beat.

Do you run for the fun of it? Or for the results?
I run for fun and race to win!

What is the best bit of advice you’ve had from another runner?
Spend more time on your feet to build a good base of endurance, if you train the same you'll stay the same.

What simple advice would you give to a new or novice runner?
Set some short and long term goals. Train to achieve them and never look back.
