Andrew was both overall and masters catagory winner of the 2015 JLL Inter-property 5k. He received a SOAR gilet for his sterling effort.
What got you into running? And what keeps you doing it?
It helps me to relax. Running well feels great. The challenge. Cheap and time efficient.
What is your typical weekly training routine?
Reps twice a week, a park run and a 10 mile run.
Do you run with a club or a group?
I run with the Tonbridge and Ravens Running Club.
Where’s the strangest place you’ve run?
The Atlas Mountains in Morocco.
Is it just for the fun of it? Or for the results?
What is the best bit of advice you’ve had from another runner?
Too much long slow running makes you a very good long slow runner.
What simple advice would you give to a new or novice runner?
Make every session different, join a club and set realistic challenges.
