What got you into running? And what keeps you doing it?
I first started running when I was at school doing cross country. At first it was just a sport I was good at but once getting older I love the feeling of being free while I run.
What is your typical weekly training routine?
At the moment I've been having a slight break from running due to a busy schedule. But I would normally run 3 times a week.
Do you run with a club or a group?
No I run alone.
Where’s the strangest place you’ve run?
I run while on holiday so I would say the strangest / most exotic place I've ran would be either South Africa or Australia.
What song, if any, is guaranteed to make you run faster?
Weirdly I like to run to rock music. The aggression gets me running faster.
Is it just for the fun of it? Or for the results?
What is the best bit of advice you’ve had from another runner?
Relax, your body will tell you what it's capable of.
What simple advice would you give to a new or novice runner?
Start slow and build up gradually.
What is your favourite piece of SOAR kit?
I'm waiting for the woman's range to be launched. But I really like the look of the men's soft shell jacket.
