What got you into running? And what keeps you doing it?
My trainer, a famous steeplechase runner in The Netherlands took me to an internship in Portugal. I became familiar with steeplechase which resulted in becoming the Dutch Champion steeplechase that year. Since then my sports career switched into a professional athlete.
What is your typical training routine?
I go to the track, do a warm-up run of 20 minutes, a little bit of dynamic stretching and then I start with my specific warm up which is running skills & drills.
Do you run with a club or a group?
I run with Croydon Harriers
What song, if any, is guaranteed to make you run faster?

Do you run for the fun of it? Or for the results?
Result, and creating results is fun!
What is the best bit of advice you've had from another runner?
My trainer give me a lot of advice, but he says there is one way to succes and that is to work hard!
What simple advice would you give to a new or novice runner?
Keep it simple and work first on your technique.
