There are runs when a full winter jacket can be overkill – we hear you – and it is with that in mind that we created the Winter Gilet to keep things lean when you’re running hot.
Built with our proprietary STORM fabric - as used by the Winter Anorak and All Weather Jacket, it teams durable water resistance with targeted breathability and a versatile design. Unlike standard wet-weather garments, there’s no membrane; instead, we’ve gone for a double DWR finish – first to the yarn and then to the finished fabric – to elevate protection while boosting breathability. The result is something that’s quite the reverse of most winter gear and all the better for it.
Layered over as little as short-sleeve baselayer right through to a heavier-weight top as temps fall, this piece can do it all – from fresh to freezing, with or without rain. It’s finished with fully bonded seams to keep out water, a high, brushed collar to keep in heat, full-length zip for temperature regulation, and a rear utility pocket, plus chest pocket, for on-run essentials, as well as reflective tape on every seam. You see, we’ve thought about it all so you can lace up and go full-stride.
